Slate Canyon 10th Ward · Elders Quorum
This was Wednesday, October 21. Thank you to everyone who came. The pond details and the Utah stocking map are still here.
An evening of fishing at the pond in Wayne Bartholomew Family Park in Springville — a three-acre pond that the Division of Wildlife Resources stocks with trout.
Last stocked September 29 — 899 rainbow trout, averaging 11 inches. So far this year: 9,385 fish, stocked on 12 days.
How often: 11–15 times a year in 2023–2025, about every 2 weeks while it’s in season, and none from December to February. DWR stocking records
Anyone is welcome: elders and their families, friends and neighbors. No gear? Come anyway. We'll have extra poles and tackle, so anyone can join in.
Plenty for the kids, too. The park has a sandy beach and open grass to play on, five pavilions, a walking path all the way around the pond, and restrooms.
